M Zahin Shafiq

Zahin supports the production of systematic reviews, evidence gap maps and other synthesis products as part of the Synthesis and Reviews Office. He is currently the coordinator of the DEP and working on the Climate Change and Biodiversity EGM. He has a focus on the agriculture sector but has worked on a range of others such as social protection, health, food security, etc. All this research is done on L&MICs. He is based in London.

Prior to joining 3ie as a staff member, Zahin worked as a consultant providing support to various synthesis efforts. He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Exeter and a BSS in Economics from BRAC University.
