Saranya Mohandas

Saranya provides research support in the production of systematic reviews, evidence gap maps and other synthesis products as part of the Synthesis and Reviews Office, UK. 

Prior to joining 3ie as a staff member, Saranya worked as a Consultant with the Campbell Collaboration involved in extracting effect sizes included in the evidence gap map to reduce involvement of children and young people in crime and violence. She has also worked in a systematic review project at Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar (IIPH-G), which informed the update of World Health Organization’s global guidelines on management of acute malnutrition in infants under six months of age. She was also involved with Cochrane US network as a mentee. 

Saranya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Master’s degree in Public Health from IIPH-G. She enjoys reading books and loves watching movies/tv shows.
